PRODUCTIONS

Travis Ketzak is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker with experience shooting and editing wedding films, as well as writing, directing, shooting, editing, and producing feature and short narrative films.

wedding Videography

As a narrative filmmaker, I bring a unique perspective to wedding videography that others can't. Not only do I understand the ins and outs of running a camera, capturing audio, and managing lighting, but I understand the ins and outs of storytelling, too.

I know what it takes to move people through filmmaking, how to capture not only the image of the day, but the feelings and emotions. You won't just see your wedding film, you'll feel it.

I don't bother with gimmicks and tricks. I'm not trying to be the next big thing. I just have a passion for storytelling through film and I have found that weddings have some of the most beautiful stories in the world. I want to tell your story.

Narrative Filmmaking

What started as a pandemic hobby has exploded into a full-blown passion and craft. I started with an experimental short film shot entirely in my apartment using myself and my wife as actors, and most recently I produced a drama/romance feature film that premiered at an indie movie theater and is now available on streaming platforms.

I have several other narrative feature films planned for the future, as well as some documentaries, so stay tuned for more.

Documentary filmmaking

I recently released the first episodes of People Places Things, a mini documentary series on YouTube featuring local artists, community leaders, local businesses, impactful events, and just about anything else that’s interesting, cool, or has a unique perspective.

Additionally, I’m currently working on a documentary feature film about the Cannonsville Reservoir in upstate New York. The town of Cannonsville was destroyed, its residents bought out or forced to leave and displaced, by the state government in order to complete the New York City Water Supply’s reservoir system to supply clean drinking water to the ever-expanding population of New York City. This film will explore the ethical and moral dilemmas attached to such a project, and the personal experiences of those affected by it.
